Andrea Mandorlini outlined his Verona targets, including safety, Chievo revenge and beating Osvaldo Bagnoli’s record.

The Coach spoke to La Gazzetta dello Sport at a Vinitaly event today.

“We need to achieve safety as soon as possible. Of the last 10 games, seven will be at the Bentegodi. It might seem an easy run-in, but in football nothing can be taken for granted.

“The meeting with Cesena will be fundamental, but we also want revenge against Chievo in another match we really care about.

“We had a very important month and brought home points from some truly difficult fixtures.”

Mandorlini is currently the longest-serving Coach in Serie A, having been on the Hellas bench for five seasons.

Will he try to beat Bagnoli’s club record of nine years with the Gialloblu?

“I think we have other priorities right now.”
