Inter will send several players to Torino to secure the signature of Matteo Darmian, according to reports.

The full-back is one of Torino’s most saleable assets, having been voted the best player of the last 12 months for Italy, and helped his team to the Europa League Last 16.

Gazzetta dello Sport reports that the Nerazzurri are very interested in the 25-year-old, but would be unable to pay the Granata’s €20m asking price outright.

Gazzetta dello Sport reports that the Nerazzurri are very interested in the 25-year-old, but would be unable to pay the Granata’s €20m asking price outright.

The newspaper speculates that the Beneamata will instead make up the cost by sending several youngsters to Turin in exchange.

Marco Benassi is already co-owned by the two clubs, and the second half of his registration would be given to Toro in exchange for Darmian.

In addition, highly-rated Gaston Camara would reportedly be sacrificed, albeit with a buyback clause inserted into any deal.

It will not prove easy for Inter to tempt Darmian to San Siro though, with Gazzetta reporting that Bayern Munich are also interested.
