La Gazzetta dello Sport claims ‘Mr Bee’ would bring in Paolo Maldini as technical director if he bought Milan.
The reports of a takeover from the Thai investor continue to gather steam, even though President Silvio Berlusconi remains adamant he won’t sell a majority share in the club.
According to today’s edition of La Gazzetta dello Sport, Bee Taechaubol is prepared to offer €500m for 60 per cent of Milan’s shares.
It also claims there are advanced plans to completely restructure the club hierarchy.
Former captain Maldini would return as technical director, though it’s likely this would only occur after Adriano Galliani has already left, as the pair departed on bitter terms.
Maldini has said many times he’d love to come back to Milan and work in the football world, but has never found the right opportunity.
It’s also fair to say the Rossoneri have never offered Maldini a role within the club, something many fans did not appreciate.
Barbara Berlusconi would take over as director of marketing, while financial advisor Victor Dana is expected to become the new CEO.
Galliani’s position would be to help smooth the transition between former owners and new patrons.
