Inter director Piero Ausilio said the team’s day off was cancelled “because they rested” against Parma.

The Nerazzurri were jeered off the pitch at San Siro after a 1-1 draw with a club under administration at the foot of the table.

In response, Coach Roberto Mancini cancelled their day off and is forcing everyone to come in on Easter Sunday.

“The team will train tomorrow at 08.30 am, seeing as they rested today,” an irritated Ausilio told Sky Sport Italia.

In response, Coach Roberto Mancini cancelled their day off and is forcing everyone to come in on Easter Sunday.

“The team will train tomorrow at 08.30 am, seeing as they rested today,” an irritated Ausilio told Sky Sport Italia.

“Tomorrow they will turn up after a night of reflection. Mancini took responsibility? It’s everyone’s fault, not just the Coach.

“There are examples around of good football with limited resources, so these are the ideas we are taking forward. We look to the present and future, as along with Mancini we are doing the right things to reinforce Inter.”

Mancio referred to a possible “revolution” after this disappointing draw and Ausilio was asked about that comment.

“At the moment let’s focus on what needs to be done and evaluate the mistakes. We believe in our work and want to all fight together with more energy.

“Roberto was a great opportunity when we decided to remove Walter Mazzarri. He’s a great Coach with the right mentality and experience, winning here and elsewhere.

“We had hoped to do better from this season, but it will take more time. We’ve added a few players who are functional to Mancini’s project and will add some more in future.”
