Empoli midfielder Mirko Valdifiori reveals Andrea Pirlo had a special gift after the game with Juventus.
The Tuscans were beaten 2-0 in Turin on Saturday evening and Pirlo was in the stands due to an injury.
“Finding you in the tunnel waiting for me to hand over your shirt gave me immense joy,” wrote Valdifiori to Pirlo on Facebook.

Valdifiori has been compared to Pirlo in his playing style and took on his playmaker role during Italy’s 1-1 draw with England on Tuesday.
That was the midfielder’s Italy debut at the age of 28.
