Roma may turn to Olympique Marseille's Benjamin Mendy to replace Ashley Cole, according to reports.

The Giallorossi's stock in terms of fullbacks is arguably not as strong as in other departments and sporting director Walter Sabatini is likely to reinforce it this summer.

While the return of Alessio Romagnoli from his Sampdoria loan may provide them with a player capable of covering that position, Sabatini could opt for someone specialised in the role.
