Milan midfielder Marco van Ginkel admits he doesn’t know what will happen when his loan deal expires at the end of the season.
The Dutchman is on loan at San Siro from Chelsea, and has impressed in the second half of the season after initially struggling to break into the side.
“My first season here was hit by injury but now I have played four or five matches in a row,” Van Ginkel explained to Milan Channel.
“Personally I am pleased and the team is improving. It was wonderful to play in the derby in front of 75,000 people, and it was a great derby.
“Will I stay? I don't know what will have happen with Chelsea, we will have to see.”
The 22-year-old also reiterated that the Rossoneri are still aiming to qualify for the Europa League this season.
“Europe will be difficult but there are seven matches left and 21 points available.”
