Monaco defender Aymen Abdennour believes his side “played better and deserved to win” against Juventus.

The 1-0 first leg defeat proved decisive, as the second leg of the Champions League quarter-final ended 0-0.

“We defended well and deserved to win, or at the very least to score a goal,” Abdennour told BeIn Sports.

“On the pitch tonight I saw a Monaco side who played better than Juventus all over the park and deserved to win.
