Bee Taechaubol is expected in Italy on Sunday to complete a deal for Milan, but a Chinese bid could still arrive.
The businessman, known as Mr Bee, is close to agreeing a deal to invest in the Rossoneri, and ANSA quotes a spokesman as saying he will try to close a deal for a majority share on Monday.
However, Gazzetta dello Sport believes that Chinese businessman Richard Lee could meet with President Silvio Berlusconi at Arcore as soon as tomorrow.
A consortium led by Lee is said to have almost completed due diligence on the Milan accounts, and is ready to present an offer.
The newspaper believes that Berlusconi would prefer Lee’s offer, as he would offer €600m for an immediate investment, whereas Mr Bee is offering €500m for 60 per cent of the shares.
