Silvio Berlusconi’s daughter Marina, chairwoman of Fininvest talks of a ‘delicate’ phase for the sale of Milan.
Fininvest is the holding company which currently owns the Rossoneri, and was founded by club President Silvio Berlusconi in 1978.
It’s rumoured the Diavolo are on the verge of being sold, with Thai investor Bee Taechaubol expected in Italy at the weekend to complete a takeover.
“This is a very delicate phase for Milan,” Marina Berlusconi said in a statement this morning.
“We must maintain silence. Things have been written which are both true and untrue.”
Hong-Kong businessman Richard Lee is also rumoured to be close to making an offer for shares in the club, with Berlusconi Sr. believed to prefer his bid.
