Bee Taechaubol will meet with Silvio Berlusconi tomorrow, as talks to buy Milan gather pace, reports suggest.

The Thai investor, commonly referrred to as Mr Bee, is believed to be close to taking over a majority stake in the Rossoneri, though he faces competition from China.

Both Sky and Corriere della Sera report that the property tycoon is currently in Italy, and will meet with club President Silvio Berlusconi at his Arcore residence tomorrow.

It’s believed that rather than the mooted 60 per cent, Taechaubol could take over as much as 75 per cent of the club, with an April 30 deadline to submit a bid.

Chinese businessman Richard Lee is also thought to still be interested, and Corriere della Sera states that some of his representatives were received at Arcore over the weekend.
