The Dutch Football Association gave a presentation on trials conducted in video replays, though there are other systems being considered.

In Italy there have repeatedly been calls for video evidence to help referees in the light of contentious decisions, although it remains to be seen how widely in would be applicable.

Some want it for all incidents, others just for penalties or whether a foul was inside the box.

The panels will meet again in October before their feedback is presented to the IFAB later this year.

Among those on the panels in London were former referee Pierluigi Collina and ex-player Hidetoshi Nakata.
