The authorities gave the ruling after the incidents around the Derby della Mole on Sunday afternoon.

Juve supporters threw a ‘paper bomb’ firework that exploded in the Torino end, injuring 11 people.

However, that incident itself is still “under investigation” and could therefore lead to further sanctions.

So far five fans have been arrested for that paper bomb.

Torino fans attacked the Juventus team bus as it drove up to the Stadio Olimpico, hurling rocks, bottles and fireworks, resulting in a smashed window.

The Osservatorio Nazionale ruled that as punishment Juventus fans will be barred from attending the next away match against Sampdoria in Genoa on May 2.

As the Juventus team bus was attacked “not by a small group of hooligans, but by thousands of Granata supporters who planned around their itinerary,” the authorities have clamped down on Toro.

The game against Empoli will only be open to season ticket holders and Empoli fans with the ‘Fan Passport’ for easy identification.

Sale of tickets for the away fans in Genoa-Torino on May 10 have also been suspended and that game will be re-evaluated after the Empoli match.
