Stoke City reportedly viewed Sampdoria midfielder Pedro Obiang, already a target for West Ham.

According to Sky Sport Italia, Stoke Chief Executive Tony Scholes was in the stands at Marassi for last night’s 1-1 draw against Verona.

He was there to keep a close eye on Obiang ahead of a summer bid.

This is not the first time the Spaniard has been linked with the Premier League, as West Ham United were also interested.
