The Thai investor, nicknamed Mr Bee, spent several hours at President Berlusconi’s Arcore home last night to negotiate the final details of the takeover bid.
Another summit was planned for this afternoon, but has been repeatedly postponed, leaving the buyer in his hotel room at the Park Hyatt Milano.

It's now believed the meeting will only be held tomorrow.
Berlusconi had meetings with top brass from his holding company Fininvest today and his daughter, who is also joint-CEO of Milan, Barbara Berlusconi.
According to Milannews.it, Taechaubol’s entourage are increasingly ‘irritated’ by the delays to the deal.
Berlusconi has signed a pre-contract agreement, so would pay a penalty if the move is not completed by midnight.
Nonetheless, he has been at the helm of this club since 1986 and wants to think very carefully before handing it over.
