Bee Taechaubol said the deal for Milan “should be completed in three to four weeks,” after Silvio Berlusconi denied a Chinese meeting.
‘Mr Bee’ was in Italy over the weekend for advanced negotiations and flew back to Bangkok for his son’s birthday.
“The deal with Milan should be completed in three to four weeks,” he told reporters at the airport in Thailand.
“We are talking about legal issues with our lawyers. Once that agreement has been sealed, we will start to reorganise the team to win.
“I cannot talk about details yet, as first we need to conclude the deal. We are in the negotiation phase.”
There were reports this morning that Berlusconi had met with a Chinese conglomerate run by Richard Lee.
However, the President’s company Fininvest released a statement assuring there were “no negotiations” with the Chinese group.
