Coach Roberto Donadoni said “the present is what it is, but the future of Parma has got to be better.”

The Ducali are mathematically relegated and have been under administration since March, but time is running out to find a buyer.

If nobody comes in to resolve the situation by July, the club will disappear off the football map altogether.

“We regret not being able to maintain our Serie A status, at least on the field,” said Donadoni at a Parma Club Collecchio event.

If nobody comes in to resolve the situation by July, the club will disappear off the football map altogether.

“We regret not being able to maintain our Serie A status, at least on the field,” said Donadoni at a Parma Club Collecchio event.

The side was docked seven points for financial irregularities and none of the players or staff have been paid since June 2014.

“I am the first to say we should’ve done more, but we have feelings and emotions, so it was not easy to just turn those off and change gear for a game.

Despite their many difficulties, the Ducali still managed to beat Juventus and hold Napoli 2-2 last week.

“I am very proud of the players and they will continue giving their all in the remaining three matches. After all, proving their worth is also the only way of attracting interest from other clubs.

“I want to thank the fans, because I will never forget their affection.”
