La Gazzetta dello Sport believes that United manager Louis van Gaal is ready to submit a bid of €50m for the 22-year-old.

The Old Trafford club’s record signing Angel di Maria is believed to be on his way out this summer after only one season and Anderson has been touted as a suitable replacement.

However, Lazio President Claudio Lotito has reportedly outlined a plan to keep the winger at the Stadio Olimpico.

Should the club qualify for the Champions League, the revenue gained would shield them from big offers, but an evaluation will be made at the end of the season.
