Jose Mauri’s agent denied reports the Parma midfielder already has a deal with Milan. “There are also two Italian and two overseas clubs.”

The 19-year-old had a splendid season despite the bankruptcy proceedings that left Parma players unpaid since July 2014.

“Taking my personal effects away from Collecchio, I realise just how much I will miss everything. Thank you Parma and goodbye!” wrote Mauri on Twitter.

There are multiple reports that he is on the verge of a summer transfer to Milan, but papers appear to be jumping the gun.

“There is absolutely nothing sealed or done here,” agent Dino Zampacorta told ParmaLive.

“Milan always showed interest, even before Parma’s financial problems became apparent, so if the technical and economic offers are equal, we would give the Rossoneri first choice.

“However, over the last few days two Italian clubs and two overseas clubs revived their interest. Other than the two Italians, there were steps forward from La Liga and Bundesliga sides.”
