Gazzetta dello Sport has reported that De Laurentiis has spoken to Manuel Garcia Quillon, the lawyer who represents both Benitez and Emery.

The Vesuviani President is believed to be willing to offer Emery a three-year deal, but the lack of Champions League football could yet be decisive.

Napoli were beaten 4-2 by Lazio on Sunday evening to finish fifth in Serie A, meaning that Emery may prefer to take Sevilla into the Champions League next season than move.

Milan are also tracking the 43-year-old as a potential option should Carlo Ancelotti refuse a return to the Rossoneri.

Sinisa Mihajlovic has been tipped as the next Napoi Coach for months but other names continue to be linked to the position, with Jurgen Klopp the latest.

The German has left Borussia Dortmund and De Laurentiis could be tempted to make a move for him, as he reportedly attempted to do two years ago.
