Galatasaray midfielder Felipe Melo has denied that there has been any contact with Inter over a potential transfer. 

Reports from Turkish television station Bugun TV this morning claimed that the Nerazzurri had offered the Turkish champions €16.5m for Melo, Alex Telles and Semih Kaya.

However, the former Fiorentina and Juventus player denied that there had been any approach in an interview with NTV.

However, the former Fiorentina and Juventus player denied that there had been any approach in an interview with NTV.

“I haven’t received any offer from Inter, this is just news that appears in the papers but that doesn’t correspond with the truth,” said the 31-year-old.

“Mancini has spoken well of me and I’m happy because we always like to receive compliments and hear nice words.

“I’m focused on Galatasaray and on the match that remains before the end of the season.”
