Club President Aurelio De Laurentiis was in Spain yesterday to offer terms to Emery, who has just lifted his second successive Europa League title with Sevilla.

Gazzetta dello Sport reports that Napoli are offering €3.8m per season for three seasons, a significant upgrade on the €1.5m Emery currently takes home.

The newspaper believes the Neapolitan side are cautiously optimistic, as although the Spaniard has no desire to leave Los Rojiblancos, he does want to work in Italy, and may not get another opportunity.

Meanwhile, Corriere dello Sport reports that De Laurentiis is willing to invest in the transfer market this summer, after a poor season saw the Vesuviani drop to fifth.
