Sevilla President Jose Castro confirmed “Unai Emery has an offer from Napoli. We hope he’ll stay with us.”
The reports had been circulating for several days that President Aurelio De Laurentiis had pin-pointed Emery as the man to replace Rafa Benitez, who is heading to Real Madrid.
“I spoke to Emery on Sunday and he informed us of meetings with other clubs to evaluate all the options,” Castro told Sevilla TV.

Emery had also been linked with the Milan bench, but Napoli suddenly leapt to the top of that list.
Instead, previous Napoli favourite Sinisa Mihajlovic has become first choice at San Siro.
