Stefano Colantuono will replace Andrea Stramaccioni as Udinese Coach, the club has officially announced.

It was announced this week that Stramaccioni would not be kept on by the Zebrette, after steering the club to 16th place in Serie A, their worst finish since being promoted for the 1995/96 season.

“Udinese Calcio announces that it has entrusted the technical management of the first team to Stefano Colantuono,” the club announced on its official website.

“Udinese Calcio announces that it has entrusted the technical management of the first team to Stefano Colantuono,” the club announced on its official website.

“The relationship with the Coach will start from 1 July 2015, and will last two years.

“The presentation of the new coach will take place Monday, June 8 in the press room of the Stadio Friuli at 12.00.”

Colantuono has been out of a job since being sacked by Atalanta in March, and has also had spells at Palermo and Torino.
