The tactician flew in today to the Cristoforo Colombo Airport in Genoa and spoke to news agency ANSA after a meeting at the club headquarters.

“Being at Sampdoria represents an honour and a privilege for me,” said the former Blucerchiati goalkeeper.

“I tell the fans I won’t let you down.”
