Lazio have renewed the contract for young attacking midfielder Chris Oikonomidis.
The Australian attacking midfielder joined Lazio in 2013 as part of their youth team and has been called up to their senior squad on a number of occasions.
The club announced the renewal on their site by an official statement.
“S.S. Lazio communicate that the contract of the footballer Christopher Oikonomidis was renewed for the upcoming years.”
The 20-year-old later posted a picture on Instagram, specifying that the new deal was for five years.
