The sports daily believes that Mihajlovic has signed a two-year deal worth €2.5m per season, with performance-related bonuses supplementing that income.

The Turin-based paper also states that there is the option of a third year included in the deal, which could be activated in the former Sampdoria tactician’s second season.

However, the Diavolo are yet to officially dismiss Pippo Inzaghi, with speculation that they are trying to get him to agree a mutual termination, as he has another year on his current deal.

If Milan were to sack their Coach, he would be owed his wages for that further year, whereas with a mutual termination, a single pay-off could be negotiated.
