Juventus defender Martin Caceres is expected to sign a contract renewal until June 2018.

The Uruguay international has been in Turin since joining from Sevilla in 2012 and his current deal is due to expire in June 2016.

According to Sky Sport Italia, a deal has been struck to extend until the termination of the 2017-18 campaign.

The 28-year-old proved himself a useful figure due to his versatility, as he can play centre-back, right-back or left-back, plus in a more advanced wing-back role if required.
