Sampdoria right-back De Silvestri was stretchered off after his crucial block in the box on Mateo Kovacic, spraining his knee very badly.
“De Silvestri had a pretty violent knee sprain, so he will clearly return to Genoa for tests with his club.
“That movement of the knee is worrying,” Professor Enrico Castellacci told Rai Sport.

The captain was hobbling throughout the first half and was replaced by Salvatore Sirigu at the break.
