Sinisa Mihajlovic assured he will “be the Milan Coach in 15 days,” as Pippo Inzaghi decides how to exit.
The ex-Sampdoria boss is to all intents and purposes their new tactician, although there is still no official announcement.
“Don’t worry, I will be the Milan Coach in 15 days,” Miha told reporters as he attended the Audi Le Mans event.
The problem is that Inzaghi has a contract until June 2016 and the club wants to avoid sacking him.
A dismissal would mean a legal battle and continuing to pay Pippo’s wages for a whole year.
According to the Corriere della Sera, CEO Adriano Galliani offered Inzaghi an ultimatum.
He can either take a €600,000 parachute payment to terminate the contract early by mutual consent or face the sack.
