“I can absolutely confirm Fiorentina are interested,” representative Dino Zampacorta told FirenzeViola.
“The Viola have been tracking the player for a very long time and there has been numerous contact with them even in the past.

“Mauri has great potential and could do very well indeed with the Fiorentina jersey. However, we still need to wait a few days and see what happens at Parma.
“We do not intend to show a lack of respect to the Ducali, so with Mauri we’ll decide only when the situation is clear.”
Parma are on the verge of bankruptcy, so Mauri would leave as a free agent if the club goes under.
The Ducali must find a new buyer prepared to pay the €22.6m sporting debt by June 25 to register for the Serie B season.
