Napoli have reportedly offered €15m for Empoli starlet Riccardo Saponara, though Milan would get 30 per cent.
The trequartista spent the last six months on loan at Empoli and was hugely impressive, scoring seven goals and providing four assists.
The Tuscan club activated its option to buy him outright for €4m.
Napoli are very eager to reunite the 23-year-old with Coach Maurizio Sarri and midfielder Mirko Valdifiori.
According to Sky Sport Italia, the proposal has increased to €15m for Saponara.
Milan would be entitled to 30 per cent of that fee under the terms of their agreement with Empoli.
There are also talks for Empoli defender Elseid Hysaj to complete the exodus to Naples.
