Napoli have officially signed Mirko Valdifiori from Empoli after the midfielder completed a medical.
The 29-year-old arrived in the city last night following a deal worth €5.5m between the two clubs.
A photograph was released by President Aurelio De Laurentiis on his Twitter account showing the moment they signed the contracts.
“Welcome Valdifiori, the first element of the new Napoli.”
He was specifically requested by new Coach Maurizio Sarri, who was also at Empoli last season.
