Seven arrest warrants have reportedly been issued to Catania executives, including their President, due to allegations of match fixing.

Corriere dello Sport has reported that Elefanti President Antonino Pulvirenti has been arrested along with vice-President Pablo Cosentino and former sporting director Daniele Delli Carri.

They have reportedly been accused of varied sporting fraud offences such as fraud in sporting competition and scams.

Seven arrest warrants have reportedly been issued to Catania executives, including their President, due to allegations of match fixing.

Corriere dello Sport has reported that Elefanti President Antonino Pulvirenti has been arrested along with vice-President Pablo Cosentino and former sporting director Daniele Delli Carri.

They have reportedly been accused of varied sporting fraud offences such as fraud in sporting competition and scams.

They are alleged to have bought Serie B matches during the 2014-15 season, and searches are being carried out in Rome, Chieti, Campobasso and Catania.

The report says that the investigation is being carried out by Digos, the Italian special branch, in collaboration with a fraud squad.

CalcioNews24 has reported that lawyers Giovanni Impellizzeri, Piero Di Luzio, Fabrizio Milozzi and Fernando Arbotti are the four others to have been charged with sporting fraud.
