Chievo, Torino and Bologna are tracking Hull City striker Abel Hernandez, but the Flying Donkeys have the upper hand.

According to Sky Sport Italia, Chievo director Luca Nember has a meeting with Hernandez’s agent this evening.

The Uruguay international is eager for a return to Italy after his time at Palermo, having struggled to settle in England.

It’s reported that Torino and newly-promoted Bologna are also showing an interest in his progress.

Hernandez will turn 25 in August and this season found the net four times in 25 Premier League games for Hull.

He made the move to England for €15m, but Chievo could snap him up for half that sum.
