Following a meeting today, Tuttomercatoweb reports that the 23-year-old is asking for a yearly salary of €3m to remain at Artemio Franchi.

That would represent a significant increase on the €2m he currently earns, which was initially paid by Chelsea as part of the Cuadrado deal.

The proposed salary would instantly make Salah the club’s second-highest earner, with Mario Gomez the best-paid player at the club on €4.25m per season.

There are a number of other clubs thought to be interested in the Egyptian international, and Tuttomercatoweb reports that Inter would be prepared to offer €2.5m per season.
