According to newspaper Bild, BVB have given Immobile permission to miss the start of pre-season training because his wife Jessica is about to give birth to their second child in Italy.
Immobile is from Naples and did not disguise his desire to play for his hometown club.

“It is important to respect negotiations and contracts, but I never hid my admiration for the Partenopei.”
The reports suggest that Borussia Dortmund would be willing to let Immobile go for €15m.
“There are no negotiations right now because we did not receive any formal offer for Immobile,” insisted Dortmund sporting director Michael Zorc.
