This evening the Colombia international’s agent confirmed to several sources, including Calciomercato.com, Milannews.it and Sky Sport Italia, that Bacca had a deal with the Rossoneri.

“I can confirm that Milan and the player reached an agreement,” representative Sergio Barila told MilanNews.it.

“Carlos chose what is best for his future, so it’s only natural he is happy.”

According to Sky Sport Italia, just a couple of hours later the two clubs also agreed terms for the €30m transfer, to be paid over several instalments.

CEO Adriano Galliani rushed to a meeting with Sevilla director of sport Monchi and they quickly reached a positive conclusion.

As Colombia went out of the Copa America last night on penalties against Argentina, 28-year-old Bacca is available to fly in for a medical.

The transfer could well be completed within 24 hours.

It’s believed to be a five-year contract starting at €2.5m per season, rising to over €3m plus bonuses.
