Midfielder Zdravko Kuzmanovic has officially joined Basel, leaving Inter after three seasons.
The Serbian international had been linked with a move to English Premier League side Watford, but has opted to return to the club where he began his career.
“I always wanted to come back to Basel, and I’m happy the deal was concluded quickly,” Kuzmanovic said in a statement on the Swiss club’s website.
“I’m motivated and ambitious, and I hope I can make my contribution for the team.”
