La Gazzetta dello Sport reports that on Monday the executive committee of the Fondazione Fiera will decide whether to accept Milan’s Stadio Milan project or that of ‘Milano Alto’, their last remaining competitor.
Fondazione Fiera owns the land at Portello on which the new Milan stadium would be built and Milano Alto is a project for an environmentally-friendly new business development.

La Gazzetta dello Sport reports that on Monday the executive committee of the Fondazione Fiera will decide whether to accept Milan’s Stadio Milan project or that of ‘Milano Alto’, their last remaining competitor.
Fondazione Fiera owns the land at Portello on which the new Milan stadium would be built and Milano Alto is a project for an environmentally-friendly new business development.
The newspaper also reports that the decision will be crucial for Inter, as they are interested in redeveloping San Siro into ‘Meazza 2.0’, which would require the Rossoneri to move out.
Inter are believed to have already deposited their plans to the council and would reduce the stadium’s capacity to 60,000, lower the roof and get rid of the top tier of seats around the stadium.
Gazzetta reports that the Stadio Milan would have a capacity of 48,000, a significant reduction from the current San Siro, which holds over 80,000 people.
