It’s all-out war now between the club and the Egyptian international, who claims his power of veto makes the €1m payment to extend his loan by another year null and void.

The Viola insist he missed the deadline to use that veto and therefore he must attend pre-season training with an option to buy him outright for €18m in 2016.

“Mohamed will go back to Chelsea now, but I can assure you he will 100 per cent never return to Fiorentina,” representative Ramy Abbas told Telelombardia.

“He has offers from other foreign Leagues, but if he leaves Chelsea then it’ll be for a return to Italy.

“Inter and Juventus? No comment, they are two great clubs, but first they have to speak to Chelsea.

“I can confirm their interest in Salah, but Milan and Roma are there too. These are the four clubs in the running.

“Which one does he prefer? I cannot answer that question now.”

Fiorentina are now threatening legal action against Salah, putting Chelsea in a very difficult position if they try to sell or loan him elsewhere.
