Chievo Verona have extended their captain Sergio Pellissier's contract for another three years until 2018.
The 36-year-old joins the likes of Francesco Totti, Antonio Di Natale and Luca Toni in continuing the tradition of evergreen Italian strikers.
The club communicated the new deal by an official statement on their club.
“A.C. Chievo Verona communicate that they have extended Sergio Pellissier's contract for another three years,” reads the statement.
“The new deal will expire on the date of 30/06/2018.”
