FIGC President Carlo Tavecchio is “worried about Inter and Milan investments. The balance sheet shouldn’t allow certain expenses.”
Neither side has qualified for Europe, but both have worked hard on the transfer market this summer with deals for the likes of Geoffrey Kondogbia, Carlos Bacca, Miranda, Luiz Adriano, Martin Montoya and Andrea Bertolacci.
“I am worried about Inter and Milan investments,” Federation chief Tavecchio told La Gazzetta dello Sport.
“The balance sheets of the two clubs shouldn’t allow for certain expenses, unless there’s something under all this I am not aware of.
“Perhaps they think that the cost can be backed by their own funds. We are talking about men of honour, so I am sure they will keep their promises.”
