Borussia Dortmund midfielder Ilkay Gundogan has reportedly emerged as a transfer target for Milan.

The Germany international has recently extended his Dortmund contract until 2017, but La Gazzetta dello Sport has reported that the 24-year-old is unsettled at the club.

The newspaper believes that the relationship between Gundogan and the Dortmund support has become strained, and that this could result in a summer switch.

The player would reportedly cost the Rossoneri €25m and Milan Vice-President Adriano Galliani is believed to be weighing up a bid.

Milan’s midfield has been reinforced recently with the arrivals of Andrea Bertolacci and Jose Mauri, but Gazzetta believe a move for Gundogan is possible as the Rossoneri are looking for more experience.
