Lazio suffered a surprise 1-0 defeat to Vicenza, but above all lost Ravel Morrison to an ankle injury.
The Aquile failed to break down the Serie B side and were defeated by Alessio Vita’s goal at the 66th minute.
There are concerns for Morrison, who was helped off the field after just 20 minutes following a crunching Stefano Giacomelli tackle.
The English player will now undergo medical tests, but it’s a blow as he was the form player of pre-season so far.
