Rumours about Salah’s departure from London were confirmed yesterday when Blues boss Jose Mourinho said ‘I see his future elsewhere.’

Today Tuttosport have reported that the Giallorossi are now frontrunners to land the Egyptian on loan with an obligation to buy for €20m plus €5m bonuses, to be paid in instalments.

However, the newspaper believes that Lupi target Dzeko is still distant from making a move to the capital.

Roma’s offer for the Bosnian has reportedly risen to €15m plus €5m of bonuses, but the Citizens are continuing to demand €28m for the striker.

In addition, it’s believed that the Giallorossi’s desire to split the €20m total over three or four years is another factor that is putting off City sporting director Txiki Begiristain.
