Inter Coach Roberto Mancini discusses the club’s transfer targets, including Ivan Perisic, Mohamed Salah and Felipe Melo.

The Nerazzurri are still in the hunt for new recruits, after bringing in Geoffrey Kondogbia, Martin Montoya, Jeison Murillo and Miranda.

“We need at least one striker,” Mancini told Gazzetta dello Sport.

“At the moment we only have two. I met [President Erick Thohir] yesterday, we had dinner, but he was in a hurry, we’ll meet again calmly in the coming days.

“Do we want Perisic? Right now he’s a Wolfsburg player, and it’s hard to say what will happen. He’s a quality player who can play in different roles.

“As for Jovetic, I talked about him during the summer of my last season at Manchester City, then they bought him after I’d left.

“He can play any role across the attack, main striker, second striker and winger in a front-three. Salah can also play multiple roles, as he did in Florence.

“That said, one of them is at City, one of them is half way between Chelsea and Fiorentina. I don’t want to offend anyone.”

Finally, Mancio discussed Galatasaray’s Felipe Melo, who is also a target for the Beneamata.

“Melo is a good, experienced player, but he’s Galatasaray’s. Like the others, he can help us. But at the moment we don’t know what will happen.”
