Goran Pandev was on target and Issa Cissokho made his debut as Genoa beat FC Wacker Innsbruck 4-1.

Gian Piero Gasperini’s side saw off the side who play in the Austrian second division.

It was a sluggish first half, as new signing Pandev opened the scoring only for Juraj Kucka’s howler to allow an equaliser by Hesina.

Kucka made up for the error by finding the net after the break, followed by 18-year-old Paolo Ghiglione and Leonardo Pavoletti strikes.

Cissokho and Ezequiel Munoz made their Grifone debuts.
