Giacomo Bonaventura believes Milan have improved, and can have 'a great season' under Sinisa Mihajlovic.
The Diavolo are in China where they will face Inter and Real Madrid, and the 25-year-old spoke to the media about the forthcoming season.
“I’m happy with my fellow midfielders,” Bonaventura told reporters.
“[Andrea] Bertolacci is new, and our midfield is stronger with him. We’re stronger than last season, so we can have a great season.
“The club will consider whether we need any more reinforcements.”
Another change from last season is on the bench, with Sinisa Mihajlovic replacing Filippo Inzaghi as Coach.
“We still haven't seen him [Mihajlovic] strike a free kick but we remember how he used to hit them. He was one of the best in the history of the game. Let's hope he can hand down some tips to us.
“He is a great professional, he has brought an eexcellent mentality to the group, a winning mentality. I think he can take us very far.
“He is very well prepared under every aspect of the game. We still don't know him very well but he is a very serious person."
