However, Gazzetta dello Sport believes that in order for the deal to go through the Nerazzurri must first agree the sale of Switzerland international Shaqiri.

Gazzetta believes that Schalke have offered €15m plus 20 per cent of the next sale for Shaqiri and that the arrival of Perisic depends on the attacking midfielder leaving Milan
